Since patch 3.3 Arctic Fur has been available for purchase for 10 Heavy Borean Leather. This equates to 60 (3 stacks) Borean Leather (6 Borean Leather per Heavy Borean Leather). Stacks of Borean Leather on my server sell for as low as 7g -8g and normal market for around 10g - 11g. So for 3 stacks it's anywhere from 21g - 24g to 30g - 33g. I buy these stacks and have my LW convert them to Heavy Borean Leather, then buy Arctic Furs with them. These furs sell for anywhere from 60g - 90g, thats 100% - 200% profit!

Before the patch I stocked up my guild bank with Heavy Borean Leather that I converted from pre-patch Borean Leather stacks in anticipation of this change. If I use these previous bought leathers plus the ones I buy daily for less then market price off the AH and convert them to Arctic Furs to sell I will flood the market. I get around this by not only selling the Arctic Furs but also using them to craft items to sell. These require 2 Arctic Fur, 2 Icy Dragon Scale, and 1 Frozen Orb. I sell them for anywhere between 130g and 160g. I may not make as much off of these as I would off selling just the Arctic Fur but I have such a large supply (and buy more every day) I want a quick turnaround before this market starts evening out.

Just tried that method and it's not bad. Profit is around 23g per Arctic Fur sold.

In addition if you are a LW and with the price of Frozen orbs being so low, making the leg patches such as Icescale Leg Armors /script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("\124cffa335ee\124Hitem:38374:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h[Icescale Leg Armor]\124h\124r"); can make that profit much more.

Seems like others on my server are finally catching on to this and the price of borean leather has skyrocketed. No worries though cause I just flipped it around, with the price of borean leather so high the price of Arctic fur should remain high and most sell for around 90g ea. However some folks haven't caught on and still listing the fur for as low as 60g ea! I just buy them up and re-post, still a max 30g gain! Also with the prices rising the price of the LW leg enchants are going up, so more of the fur I get is going into that.

If this is happening on your server don't sweat it. There is still money to be made. Just look at what the different markets are doing and exploit them!
